Hydraulically Adjustable Down Blast Machine

The Blast Machine has been engineered to effectively remove mill scale, rust, and other contaminants while creating an anchor pattern on the external surface of steel pipes.

Equipped with a hydraulic lift system, the machine allows for precise adjustment of the blast wheel distance. This feature enables fine-tuning of the blast wheel pattern and accommodates variations in pipe diameters. Notably, the machine's innovative design eliminates the need for a pit, enhancing installation flexibility and operational efficiency.

The Blast Machine is designed to clean steel pipes to meet stringent customer specifications. It employs blast wheels that centrifugally propel steel shot or grit at high velocity, effectively removing rust, dust, and foreign particles from the pipe's surface. This process also imparts an anchor pattern, which significantly improves the adhesion of subsequent coating materials.

Following the abrasive blasting process, all particles are transported to the top of the machine via an elevator and deposited into an auger assembly. The material is then conveyed to a rotary screen, which classifies the abrasive media, expelling foreign debris into a designated trash chute while filtering the reusable abrasive into a hopper. The abrasive material is evenly distributed across the length of the rotary screen assembly and subjected to an air wash process for further purification. A dust collector subsequently separates rust, dust, and depleted abrasive from the clean media, which is then stored in a reservoir for recirculation to the blast wheel, ensuring a continuous and efficient operation.
